Marie Petter
North Babylon, NY

Marie Petter is a 58 year-old mother and grandmother who was involved in a near-fatal motorcycle accident thirty years ago. She all but had to have her ankle reattached and was in a body cast for almost nine months. At the time, her husband divorced her and left her with a very young family. It took years for Marie to start running again, but she did.

Ann Aicher
Dublin, OH

As a personal trainer and spinning/aerobic instructor Ann's goal is to inspire the average person to exercise and teach them how beneficial it is to their health. As a step mom to three children she strives to be a role model to them by teaching the importance of exercise and eating right. A family goal this fall is to complete a 5K as a family called "Dead Celebrity" run. The 7 year old will dress up like Elvis, while the 9 year old will be Marylin Monroe. This summer the kids all completed their first one-miler and loved it.

Heidi Fricke
Youngstown, OH

Heidi is a wife and mother of two small children. She has been teaching fitness in many forms for well over ten years. In addition, in 2004 she completed her first marathon (Cleveland) and her second in the same year (Phila). Recently, out of a desire to focus on more than "physical well being in her teachings, she opened her own fitness and yoga studio. She is a certified trainer of "Yoga Fit."
